We are not experts in this field but will undertake to do our best be compliant and protect any data collected in our relationship with anyone who contacts us.
We use the services of a third party webhost to provide this website and are reliant on their compliance with GDPR. We however have no way of accessing their servers or links to validate this claim. We do not collect any data directly from you during your visit to this site unless you sign up for our newsletter, fill out a form or comment on a post. All of these activities will require your consent for your data to be used by us, and will only be used for the purposes of the activity you engage in with us.
The website also hosts forms provided by Google within a gmail account which is accessed by our IT team. We are reliant on Google to be compliant and have no way of accessing their servers or links to validate this claim.
Subscription to our newsletter is via mailchimp and this again is dependant on their assurance of compliance and once again we do not have the ability to verify this claim. Subscribers are able to modify or remove their details from mailchimp without our intervention.
We also use Facebook to interact with residents and third parties and the data collected here is also out of our control and is entirely dependant upon Facebook’s compliance with GDPR.
Our committee use a variety of ISP’s and email providers including Google to exchange information which may contain your email address and an exchange with you. We have no control over where these messages go between you and us or who intercepts them (ISP’s , police, secret services etc) and are unable to confirm deletion from our host servers.
We will willingly assist any visitor to our electronic communications media with any questions you may have about your data and how it is used and stored. You can contact us via the contact us page on this web site to request your data to be removed at any time and we will do our best to ensure that it happens as quickly as we can.
