Start date: flexible<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working Hours:<\/strong> Part-time, 8 hours per week notionally Tuesday and Friday (office based\/flexible)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contract duration:<\/strong> New post, temporary six-month contract in the first instance until 30th<\/sup> May 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salary:<\/strong> Spot Salary based on the NJC Payscales: LC1 Substantive Point 8 \u2013 \u00a310.65 per hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Stony Stratford Town Council is recognised as one of the most forward-thinking younger Councils in the country, delivering an expanding portfolio of services to the population that it serves.\u00a0 Applications are invited for this exciting and varied new position created for the Councils additional activities. It might suit someone who is at College or University interested in a career within the Public Sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summary: <\/strong>monitoring Town Council assets and contracts. Customer services.\u00a0 Financial and Planning administration, Assisting with monthly and annual events.\u00a0 Support for the Town Clerk and Deputy Town Clerk on large projects.\u00a0 Supporting the Deputy Town Clerk in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the Town Council.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful candidate will have to need to demonstrate good practical, organisational and communication skills, be willing to work outside and some evenings plus undergo relevant training.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
